Anchorage Park and Recreation’s Park and Play program offers no-cost, supervised, drop-in play programs at neighborhood parks.  Children will play, learn about the environment, and participate in art projects in a variety of media led by eight local artists. Youth Employment in Parks Recreation Crews will work with artists to provide content-based play opportunities for Anchorage youth. .Anchorage Teens Apply to work on a YEP Crew!

.Community Members- YEP thrives on its partnerships with individuals and organizations in the Anchorage community. Some of the key areas in which we need volunteers are as follows:
• Guest presenters- Do you know a lot about an important local environmental issue? Do you connect well with teens? We have some space available for guest presenters throughout the summer.
• Job Shadowing- Do you work in a Green Job? Would you like to spend a day showing a YEP teen the ins and outs of your field? Sign up to be a Mentor for our Job Shadowing Day in late summer.
• Career Fair- Does your organization have jobs, internships, or training opportunities for young people? Table at our annual career fair and gain access to a premier group of the next generation of local leaders!
